MISSION
David M. Benson/EastShore Counseling Services - To provide safe, effective, confidential, assessment and treatment to you and/or your child who may be experiencing behavioral/emotional difficulty in the home, workplace or school setting. At EastShore Counseling Services, an experienced mental health professional will provide individual, group, or family counseling, depending upon your personal needs.
Sometimes, certain individuals may need a level of care not suitable to the office setting. At these moments, great care is taken to assure continuous, effective treatment in the appropriate setting.
David M. Benson, MSW, LMSW, ACSW
David Benson is a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker with extensive child and adolescent treatment experience in outpatient and residential settings.
David Benson, ACSW specializes in children and adolescent issues, such as; ADHD, Conduct Disorder, Depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Foster and Adoptive Placements (separation), and Inappropriate Sexual Behavior. David has many years of experience working in adolescent detention facilities with adjudicated adolescents and children removed from their homes.
David’s history includes an extensive background of working with adults that suffer from Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Relationship Difficulties and Marital Counseling. David Benson implements a comprehensive, innovative treatment approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral techniques, as well as collaboration/referral to psychiatrists when needed. David also maintains frequent contact with the parents of minor clients through phone calls and e-mails.
David Benson, ACSW is a proud member of the Nationally-Accredited Academy of Certified Social Workers.
